As the title says, I need stock panels and seat covers for my '66 Biscayne. I've read lead times can be a year or more so thought I better move now. Is CARS still the go to source for these pieces?

You could try Ciadella also since they're a good source for non SS upholstery.
If you're using original door panel top rails as donors to build your new panels, before you pull things apart, scratch a line on the rail along the panel board edge so the new backer board can be set in the same place.
I ordered the concours weatherstrip kit for my door panels from Cars Inc. and had them install it which was a mistake.
The kit comes with staples as original, but they simply Phillips screwed them on.
Do it yourself and do it right.
Their nail edge bands leave something to be desired too.
The nails at the hinge end all lined up but not the nails at the latch end.
I had to nip them off flush because they were completely out of range of the retainers.

I have had a CARS Inc. interior installed for 15 years and it still looks new. I had a shop install the seat covers and assemble the door panels. No issues with CARS Inc.

Yes, CARS. I would be curious what they told you about how long it would take to get them to you house. Post that info if you don't mind.

An apparently very good company with a way too generic name for modern searches:

I haven't used them but I added them to my mental rolodex as people have spoken highly of them here previously.
