Hey everyone, hope things are cool. I am looking to redo the carpeting in my Nomad. Who to buy from is the question. I have no clue what's out there? Has anyone done this recently? Give a holler. ThaNKS

Back in about 1985 I bought carpet from Classic Chevy now Ecklers.
I removed it in February this year, it was rotten and falling apart yet it looked good prior to removal.
My car has been a 100% in the garage car since 1980, so rot is not weather related.
So, I would say $129 free shipping was not bad for 35+ years.
So once again I order the cheaper loop carpet from
Ecklers.
Black carpet is black carpet to me, the high dollar versus this in black.
Looks the same to me except it costs more this time.
The carpet is resold by Ekclers and it appears the origin is ACC, Auto Custom Carpets.

Auto Custom Carpets sells all over the place including eBay. I used their carpets in the dealership when we had a vehicle that needed replacement carpet. They fit well and were definitely the right style and color.
I agree that a carpet installed in the 80s that lasted until today is a great value.
People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know. |
