Have a '48 Coupe with frnt discs, new king pins, stock shocks. No other suspension mods evident. I installed a center mount power rack from a late 80s Cavalier (rebuilt from NAPA). I HAVE SIGNIFICANT BUMP STEER.
The tie rods are not quite parallel to the lower control arms. Also, the tie rods are slightly longer than the length of the lower control arm.
I am assuming that if I get them precisely parallel and same length I should solve the problem.??
Any observations or shared experience would be much appreciated.

That's what was the issue with a friends 37 coupe with a M11 front end with r and p steering. Had to get spacers to bring the tie rods parallel to the
lower arms, also the lower arms should be parallel to the ground, then toe in must be reset.
