About two quarts of each.

People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know.

depends how thick you want the paint. 2qts is paper thin. when i was painting cars it would take about 1 gallon of paint for 3 coats. clear would normaly be less if you dont sand it and buff it.

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.

If he is using base coat, then the color needs to be sprayed until even. The clear coat is where the real gloss lies.

Keep in mind that on a Corvette you have less surface area than a sedan. I found the two quarts did a nice job. Two quarts of paint equates to about four quarts of spray when reduced.

Two quarts of clear is about 2.5 quarts when the activator is added. Enough for 3 coats of clear.

To me Tony 1963 with looking for a real flat surface most of the first layers of primer get sanded off. Still just to qts of primer? Mel

It depends upon if we are measuring materials to complete bodywork or prep to paint. Once you have the surface finished, that is what I am referring to.
