“Another fine mess you got us into Ollie”
Everything running fine, loaded up my 16 ft 2 axle cargo trailer just short of max combined gross weight for the 91 2500. Left Ca headed to La , fueled up at the flying J off the 10 back on and missed the 17 south to avoid downtown Phoenix and that’s where the fun begins! Downtown here I come , traveling around 50 with a 4 car lead just wasn’t enough to avoid the 3 four wheelers that came to an abrupt stop????. I slid right into them with my foot to the floor, hit them square on bent fender buckled hood and left front fender busted grill and one high beam now looks down. With no oil leaks off I go all the way through to Huston then over all the rough roads on the east side, I stop outside Bay town and the truck will not crank. I start checking fuses, all good , I roll under and jump the starter and off I go then shortly after the transmission is shifting in and out of 2nd to third. I’m towed to Lafayette La to a trans shop, the B- solenoid was replaced along with the ignition switch and still getting code 81 . Any ideas what we should start looking at?
