01 Yukon XL SLT 4x4
17in rim

So I've seen some videos on this upgrade and i've seen different variations but whats the best way to go? as far as what parts, where to get em, etc the whole process i guess

Off topic but my parking brake don't work either like i adjusted it from the rotor and it just goes straight to the floor guessing i gotta get under there to adjust the cable but figured I'd ask anyways incase that don't work

The emergency/parking brakes on 07-14 Yukon/Tahoes suck. Even after adjusting they don’t stay adjusted long. They are cable operated shoe/drum brakes within the rear disc brake rotor.

I adjusted mine like you would with the old drum brakes in the past by taking off the rotor (drum) and adjusting the shoes out until they just touched/dragged the drum. I checked the cables and there was no slack in them. It had a good pedal, but only for a few weeks or months and then back to nothing again.

I hope someone knows a better way to do this.
