How do I get rid of this annoying pop-up? You have had my email address since day one.

I suspect its a result of you using a VPN which manipulates your IP address. We pop up that message only to new visitors and because of that "cloaking" you appear to be new each time you visit.
Are you using a VPN? If so perhaps you can configure it for a custom setting. The other choice is to disable it when you visit CT. I was using one for a while but it was such a PITA that I stopped using it for general purpose.

No, Tony, no VPN ... just Edge ... I do however, have it set to delete cookies on every close.

I don't wish to cause too much pain but as a test can you try another browser? I use Chrome as my personal choice and have for a decade.

It shouldn't pop up again unless your IP changes. If it doesn't its a setting in Edge. If it does its something that's running like a anti-virus program.
Thanks for hanging in there Burb.
