I've never owned a Corvette "new" but have had plenty of low-mileage, like new models. Sold them and made money.

For the money, there are other vehicles that are a better value and will out perform a Corvette. Take for instance the Mercedes E63 AMG.

People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know.

I'm not sure what Corvette's draw is anymore. There was a day when it was "the car" but anymore, other manufacturers have built vehicles that out perform it, are more comfortable, better on the road and have superior features.

Everyone has their favorite vehicle. I enjoyed owning them and selling them for profit. Some were very nice but none of them really were for me.

I do like the C3 models even though most consider them inferior.

Since the Corvette is GMs flagship and most of what I see from you is negative I am not sure why
you are here except to stir the pot. Be sure to wipe good after ever post. Mel

I'm not sure it is their "flagship" as GM would probably argue that their Crapillac brand is designed to be the premium entry.

I have driven more performance vehicles by more manufacturers than most due to my history and my view is that the Corvette is a nice car, but others way outperform it as well.

Everyone has the right to voice their views as long as they stay inside of the forum rules. I would suggest that you read them, as well.

Also, in a related point, I do not worship General Motors. The "old GM" is technically out of business and what you have today is the "new GM". The old GM filed bankruptcy and failed, like others before it.

I do not respect the decisions made by GM especially their shameful disregard of safety over the ignition switch.

While some will regard GM as their grandfather and wise aged soul, I do not.

My two cents worth is that almost any Vette is above my snack bracket and probably always will be. This site was built on the blue collar hobbiest which seem to be the people you look down your nose at, I guess because we are below you. If I were still an Admin here Tony1963 you would have been gone a looong time ago. Fortunately for you I am not, and the rest of the CT members have to suffer reading your I'm above you attitude posts. You need to find your self a Mercedes forum and leave us Chevy lovers the hell alone.
