Anyone have any insight on installing ac in a ‘56 210 wagon. Just starting a resto-mod project on a car I just purchased.

Air conditioning is pretty much a self contained, add on system. The system you chose will decide the way it is mounted and how it looks in the vehicle. I have a Vintage Air system in my El Camino, but it never worked correctly. Not the fault of Vintage Air, but the fault of the guy I was dealing with to make up the hoses and charge the system. I did the install and everything worked properly. But I think the guy overcharged the system and it would get steadily warmer the longer it ran. The only other problem I had was the squirrel cage for the blower motor came off of the motor so I had nothing to blow air out of the vents. I never found out what happened since I have to remove my whole dash to access the case and I stopped driving it at that time.
