I've been doing some searching on several sites about corvette wheel back space.
I changed the wheels on my 71 from 15x7 rally wheels to original corvette 15x8 rally wheels.
I have had it in my head for years the factory C3 wheels are 4" back space ,zero offset. after reading forums and comments from internet experts some say 4" some say 4.25" back space.my tires are 255/60 and rub the lip on the back occasionally. I don't want to grind the lip for fitment. If factory is 4" the 4.25" would be perfect. anyone know the real story? I suppose I could go pull a wheel and measure
