A friend is asking for help with his truck that has one the left brake light. When doing an inspection I found the wire going to the right turn signal laying be the brake light switch. If I replace the left light wire with the right, the right side Brake light works. If I connect them both then the turn signals flash repeatedly. Seems like it needs two separate terminals on the two prong brake light switch. What to do? Hope this makes some sense. Tia

Your wording is a little hard to follow. I think a little further explanation is needed.

Uhh. Only one brake light working at a time. When I try to hook up both the turn signals blink repeatedly. Hope this is better!
Thanks!

That is better, thanks. Is it actually the blinkers blinking, front and rear? Or are just the rear lights blinking?

normaly brake light switch sends voltage to turn signal switch that will send voltage to brake/turn lights.
