Hello CT,
I replaced the headliner in my 68 el Camino and left the screws in the roof. Already pulled them through the new headliner. The issue I’m having is the replacement dome light fixture (from OPGI) doesn’t line up with existing screws. I’m baffled as all the replacements online look the same.
-My old one was mounted with the same factory screw locations. But it completely broke during removal and I have sense trashed it way before installing this one.
Does anyone have or can take picture of their dome light without the lens?
I can not find any other dome light for a 1968 el Camino online.
Thank you for your help

Since the screws do not line up, I'm assuming that the dome light assembly is from another vehicle model. It might physically fit, but not in the same mounting holes.
Your lens broke from the original - but did the base break as well?
I would imagine that this is the same assembly as the Chevelle. Maybe you have an Impala part?

Yea it’s listed for 1968 Chevelle el Camino. I’ll post a video of it tomorrow. My actual old base broke into pieces, the old lens and new lens are the same… it’s the same base and lens I have on hand when you search Chevelle/ el Camino on any website.
