On parts like this, they were never serialized to the vehicle so there is no way to know if it was original to the vehicle, or not.
The date code on the item will tell you if it is "date appropriate" for your vehicle. For instance, a vehicle built in the 20th week of the model year wouldn't have parts that were cast later in the model year, but wouldn't have parts cast from much earlier (likely) either.
