Hello Chevy friends in the USA, I hope someone can answer something. I sealed my motor 216 a little and mounted an aluminum wheel on the camshaft. Now I have a whistle like a bird when I accelerate. now it comes from the aluminum wheel or what else could it be

Ralf, That whine you here is from the aluminum camshaft gear you installed. If you would have installed the fiber gear as original it would be much quieter .

Would have helped if you would have replaced the steel crankshaft gear also.
Also if the oil supply grove brhind the front engine mounting plate was not cleaned out the gears are not getting oil and that is a problem also.
