I have not done it an a Nova, but on an El Camino. The trans mount if further back. That means your trans crossmember needs to be moved back. Or one made for the conversion needs to be bought. You will need to either have a driveshaft made or yours shortened. The 700 takes the same yoke as the TH350. Then you need the throttle valve cable and the correct bracket to use with your carb. to ensure the correct geometry and that it pulls the cable out the correct amount as the throttle is applied. You can burn up a 700 quickly with a bad TV cable adjustment. I used a Lokar cable because I had converted my Elky to TPI, but it was a little harder to adjust the cable properly. If you can get a bracket that uses the OE style adjustment, it makes it easy to adjust, you just press the button on the bracket and then open the throttle all the way with the engine off and the cable pulls out to the correct adjustment.
