I would like to know how much paint/gallons it would take to paint my 55 Nomad. Of course the type of paint makes a difference, so lets say just enough color to cover and then bury it in clear so finishing/buffing is not an issue. The color is dark metallic blue. Primer base would be black so coverage is quick. I painted my 55 in 1983 in lacquer. I can still get lacquer mixed but it is not the same paint as before, no lead, and I forget the amount I needed. So what are the guesses, or better yet, has anyone painted a 55 Nomad lately?

If you are painting in and out, six quarts.

People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know.
