Does anyone know if the interior a-pillar trim molding of a 63-64 Cadillac Convertible will fit a 63 Impala Convertible?
They sure do look alike...

On the Impala model, I've always seen that interior trim be chrome/stainless finish.

The lower level trims Bel Air and Biscayne probably have painted panels.

Agree.

I've attached a pic of my current '63 convertible (ALL convertibles were Impalas). It is the same as the one I owned in the '60. The interior A pillar was painted the same color as the interior.

Don't know the Caddy.

Pete

not all correct.
61-64 Impala convertibles interior windshield trim is painted steel.
All 61 Impala and 62-64 Impala interior trim around front windshield and back glass windows is ..Andozied Aluminum trim....

That is what meant, Paul. Meaning it was not painted, but some sort of bright metal work.

All exterior Belair and impala 55-66 and probably later convertibles exterior windshield trim was stainless steel.

Other GM model convertibles 61-64 had stainless interior windshield trim as compared to impala 61-64 convertibles interior windshield trim that were painted steel

My 63 Parisienne has anodized interior trim o the windshield and it is all the same glass as a 63 impala 2 door sport coupe. If a Cadillac has the same windshield and side glass as a 63 Impala 2 door sport coupe, I’d say the interior windshield trim would be the same fit.

I had mine chrome plated, but they were originally painted.

The top two interior trim pieces should work from a Cadillac and I'm pretty sure other GM full-size convertibles will work, but the sides are different, the Impalas had dimple (not sure of the actual terminology) on the bottom where it mounts to the dash to allow the kick panel to slide into it.

I know my originals where shiny... chrome or polished aluminium or something, the top part is the same, definitely not painted. Unfortunately the shop I had it at threw them away along with a bunch of other stuff they where not supposed to throw away

I also came to the conclusion that the 63 Caddy once are not quite the same, the very bottom part where the screw is and where they meet the windlace are different. It's straight on the Caddy and has a slight curve on the Impala.
