I have a 53 2 door sedan, I used to drive it around and then decided that I was going to "restore" and took off the entire front end. It's been sitting like this for a few years now, I've been kicking around ideas on what to do to it, how to pain it, etc. I plan to have someone else paint the body, but I want to put it back together, does the reproduction car manual have all of the information to put it back together? I'm pretty i've lost clips, nuts and bolts by now, and I'm not sure where they go. I have some random parts that I'm not sure where they go. I need some kind of guideline.

You need a service and parts manual. Also a body assembly manual, if they made on.

I've never seen a body assembly manual for our cars. The later models, especially the '60's cars have them, but not ours--that I can find anyway.

NCA used to sell a complete front end bolt/fastener kit for the '53 - '54 cars.

The '53s and '54s present a problem especially where the body is concerned. The 1949-53 Shop Manual with the 54 Supplement focuses more on mechanical information and not a lot on body information. Regardless, if you are going to continue with a restoration, I would highly suggest that you buy the Shop Manual.
All of that said, and as others have pointed out, Keith Hardy's web page is an excellent resource for filling in the gaps that the shop manual does not provide. I scanned the Index and put pointers at the Shop Manual and at links that will help you with body information. There are other Body by Fisher Body Service News for the '53 and '54 models that can be found at eBay. Here is a direct link to a December 1953 Service New at Keith's web page that describes getting proper gaps when hanging 1953 panels:

I'm not sure if you car is a Belair, 210, or 150 2-Door Sedan. If you could provide that information, I can provide a clip information guide for your particular car.

Trial and error and having been a non-paying member also helps as I have that particular insight in how to get certain images posted. For instance at Keith's web sight, you can right click on any image and you should get a drop down that says, "copy image address". Paste that address in between this where the space is. [image]_____[/image]. The image will then appear in your post. That's exactly what I did with the Service News image above.

wow definitely a lot of good information here. I actually do I have the Shop Manual that I bought probably 15 or 20 years ago but its old and torn up. It's not that expensive so I'll pick up a new one. Another example are the wipers, I took them off but I don't remember how they go back together. Stuff like that. I have boxes of parts, I hope I'm not missing some random bolts lol.
Thank you all.

There is some information on the Service News section at Keith's site, but I have also scanned these as the wiper system was changed to a cable system for 1953 and I think this information reflects a mid-production change to that system.
