My daughter bought a 07 Monte and I have been fixing it up... The issue I am having now is the power door locks aren't working... I tried to install a new fob and while setting the new and old fob up I noticed that the door locks where not working... when you lock the doors (remote or switch) the relay will click but unlocking the relay does not click... The auto start and truck pop work on both remotes... I have tested the actuator on the driver side door and it works along with the switch.. replaced the relay and checked the fuse... has anyone else ran into this issue.. I am starting to think the bcm might be at fault....

It is almost always the FOB.

People fear change because it threatens what they know, or what they claim to know.

It’s not the fob if it doesn’t work from the switch either. How exactly did you test the actuator and switch? If the actuator only has two wires, those wires switch from power to ground depending if they are pushing or pulling (locking and unlocking). So how the power and ground goes through the switch to the actuator determines if it is locking or unlocking. This usually occurs after the relay, so the switch determines which power wire is triggered by the relay. So it sounds like you have a broken wire between the switch and relay. You will need a wiring schematic to see which wires are which. But the most likely place for the wires to develop a break is at the harness between the door and body because it flexes every time the door is opened and closed. You may even be able to hold the button and move the harness around and the wires will temporarily make contact again and work while manipulating the harness.

I have tested the actuator on the driver side door and it works along with the switch..

I read that as proof that the circuit is good based upon the information provided.

The actuator has two plugs. One plug has two wires the other has 6. there is also another plug in there connected to something that has power all the time... I tested the switch with continuity and the actuator with direct power (i also tested a actuator and switch from the junk yard with the same results)..I have looked for a wiring diagram for the power door locks on this car but with no luck... I did test the wires for brakes (continuity check) and from what I can see I am 90% sure they are good (have a diagram to make sure I had them all would help)...
