Howdy All

What's a? "Good clean Switched 12v Ignition source. This source needs to have 12v while cranking, and with the key in the run position."

I'm sure someone found this. I used the coil wire on my Edelbrock V1 EFI and worked but that's a no, no for the Sniper.

I  rewired the car with larger gauge wire, electronic ignition no ballast resistor, and the same key switch.

Thanks in advance

Doug

Doug, I just completed my install and have completed my Learning and have about 500 miles logged so far on my 550-541 Sniper XFlow version. Although there are some differences the basics should be the same.
Because the system is sensitive to feed back the main power MUST be direct to the battery. The switched calls for it to be connected to the IGN SW IGN connection. Mine would not work that way. I ended up connecting it to the IGN SOL. So Pink wire to IGN SOL. 12V to the POS terminal of the battery NOT the 12V at your fuse panel. The Ground must be directly to the Battery Negative terminal NOT just to GND.
I hope this helps. You will love the throttle response. BTW be aware the idle set screws are set high so you will need to adjust this. Also even though the Fuel pressure says 50-65psi, please take my advice and just go right to 65psi.
Bob
