Anyone know of a source with GOOD pics of how to rebuild these? A have a rebuild kit and have found several tutorials, but they all have bad pics, so it's hard to actually see the assemblies and how they go together. A parts diagram might be helpful also. This thing is about to make me blow a gasket.

I know this will not help much but is it oem or aftermarket?
I run the other way from these. Finding parts and repair help for them is like pulling teeth. I am not even sure Alldata would be useful for this

I finally figured it out. What a PITA, but it's done. Guess I shoulda documented it myself, but I was so frustrated, probably wouldn't have been very good. It was a factory sun roof BTW. Thanks to everyone for your input and help.

I hate messing with sunroofs. Thankfully I only have to do it every few years other than removing them and reinstalling them as a unit once in a while. I had a Mercedes at work. The sunroof shattered and sent glass everywhere, including into the tracks. I took it out and cleaned everything I could see, then reinstalled it and put in the new glass. It worked almost flawlessly. But one side would touch before the other while closing. I took it back out and started to disassemble everything. I was very lucky to find one ver tiny hidden plastic part that had broken. We got a new one and I put it in and the roof worked properly again.
