anyone running a luberefiner? im going to make or buy one. thinking of 6 microns or smaller.

70 L camino, grampa engine, g-force 5 spd, road rage suspension. Pray first before all else fails.

Changed a few of them too.

We had a S-series IH tractor at work. Getting that horizontally mounted filter can mounted in front of the rear axles to seal was a PITA.

Had worked with these a few times. Also the old "shutterstats" that moved in front of radiator to control temp. Guy I knew had a old Brockway tractor that for low air warning had a plate with a stop sign that air held up. If you lost air the plate would fall n show stop sign. (It may have had a police guy on it.) I was mounted up by the front above windshield would drop in front of you

ive worked on all types, the ones we have now are usualy spin on or smaller cartridge types. im thinking much smaller. like a ls1 size.

Its been awhile, but MR Macks had two large spinon filters n a primary n secondary fuel filter. I dont know what they use now. that was 7 years ago. They also switched to synthetic atf n synthetic gear oil for difs. (Republic services 2nd shift lead mechanic 16 years)
