is it just me or has anyone noticed the angle of the steering box seems to be wrong on these trucks. a customer wants me to work on a 90 blazer 4wd. the drag link goes forward and back in its normal range of motion but the steering box sits at an angle so that there is wasted motion. this thing has got spring shackles on the front and it wanders like a drunken sailor. if it were mine i would level out the box to get the best response.

Yup, it's one of the reasons frames crack on 4X4s. Add a metal plate to reinforce it.
