I need to replace the passenger's side dome light switch on a 1998 K1500.

The truck has a glove box and A/C/Heater motor on the right side.

Is it possible to reach up inside and pull out the old one/put in the new one without removing the the dash on the passenger's side?

Thanks for any help.

Howdy and welcome.

You may be able to reach it better if you remove the glove box itself. Shouldn’t need to pull anything more.

I replaced both sides of mine pulling them out,not through the back side. The plunger end has a rim so won't feed from the back.
