Hello experts.Been awhile since the last post. I just received my door weatherstripping for my 50 Bel air hardtop from Steele Rubber. Instructions were not very detailed of course.I have a couple questions I’m not sure about. They only provided 2 and half feet of weatherstripping for the side of the door where the latch is.That makes it 5or6 inches short of reaching the bottom of the door.Where do I start it at the top of the latch side? Also do I need to remove the door to accomplish this. Thanks in advance for your replies. I also received the bellows for the front that connects to the A pillar but I’m not sure sure if I will install them

The only thing I can provide are the instructions for installing the front door hinge pillar seal. Unfortunately, the front fenders would need to be removed to carry out this operation. I've looked at a few photos I have of a 1950 convertible and they seem to indicate that the door weather strip on the latch side is a continuous piece from the window all the way to at least a few inches beyond the bottom of the door. I'll be happy to post those as well, but I'm not sure how those would help.
