I have a 75 Caprice. How do you access the front dash speaker to replace it?

I assure you that you will have a lot of fun. You are going to have to start by removing most of the dash components since the speaker mounts under the dash.

Remove the glove box and instrument cluster to get enough access to reach in. Lots of light needed too.

If it's anything like a '71 or '72, which it should be, all you need to do is take out the Glove Box first, then the Dash Pad. It's been years, but I've done a few of them. Be aware that there are a lot of nuts and screws holding on the Dash Pad. Some are a little hard to find.

Just remove the dash pad ,it’s not that hard. I’ve done it a lot on 71-76 chevys.

Isn't there some type of speaker dissolving fluid available?
