Greetings, so I have been having this issue since I bought the truck 2 years ago. It will randomly stop functioning for heating and ac. When it does this the defrost light will typically go solid yellow. It will not respond to commands from the feet, defrost, face positions and will just blow air out the dash defrost only. It will also not respond temperature wise regardless of the position of the temperature sliders. The blower control level works as normal. I have confirmed that the ac is charged and holding pressure, all of the blend door motors function fully (when its working), the blower control resistor has been replaced, fuses have been replaced, and the actual control interfect has been replaced as well. The only thing that sometimes fixes it is pulling the control interface from the dash and then unplugging and realigning the two connectors on the back of the unit. The contacts inside do not appear to be corroded or damaged and the wires themselves (as far back to the firewall as I can see) do not appear to be damaged either. Does anyone have any insight as to how to fix this? I live in northern Minnesota where we have very hot summer months and very cold winter months, making for a very uncomfortable experience when this happens. TYIA
