1965 Chevy II part under the car on the front crossmember on each side. Any idea what these are for?

Looks like the bushing for the strut rod.
The strut rod is adjustable to positively locate the lower control arm and the adjustment determines caster for wheel alignment.

I had the strut rod bushings replaced a couple of months ago, along with an alignment. Will have to look closer.

I just realized that it is the end of the strut rod. I am asking about the cone shaped part. Looks like a little light. There is one on both sides.

Yes there is one on each side and they are plastic.
