Any comments about quality and compatibility or bolt on experiences?
Miss or a hit?

Thanks advance for your sincere comments.

I do not know anything about the kit you bought. But is does recommend 15" wheels. That's likely 'required'. But, as I said, I've no specific knowledge of the 'kit'.

Be prepared to change wheels and tires. Also, the wheel covers for a 14" wheel will not work with 15's.

Did you intend to also convert to front discs?

Power brakes can be 'added' to the drums w/o changing to front discs. If accomplished as GM did it, no 'other' changes are required.

Vendors sell front disc 'kits' for 14" wheels but they are based on Camero/Chevelle vehicle parts/weights (smaller rotors, for example). When GM went with front discs on the full size cars, the also changed to 15" wheels.

Just info.

Pete

More money going with this stupid mistake of mine, not reading everything three times.

This might be my savior for not buying new set of wheels!
BUT, i'm investigating reasonable priced wire spoke wheels 15", looks pretty expensive especially for shipping & handling costs.
There are used sets available, but 99% of ads says "pick up, no shipping". Ebay and Craigslist sellers do not put extra effort sending stuff over seas... Unfortunately

Autocityclassics.com makes a disc brake kit that will work with stock 14" wheels if you want to keep your stock wheel combination.
