I recently swapped the manual transmission in my 55 to a TH350. What fixed ( Hard )Transmission dip stick will work? Engine is still in the original back position and car has the battery tray still located on the firewall. I just don't like the aftermarket flex dip sticks.

I went through the same thing when I did my 350 install on my 55. I tried couple different ones didn't have room between head and firewall, finally put in a after market flex one. I took the pan of the transmission and marked where full would be on the stick, being the after market wouldn't be exactly right.

If your not the lead dog the view never changes

Try Ebay. Lots of TH350 dip sticks and tubes listed there.
