If it is ALL original and no reproduction parts and all correct for a 59 depending on condition $5000-$7000 in this crazy market. If it was all NOS never on a car double that.

Toys:
1958 Impala 2dr Hardtop Under Construction
1966 Chevelle Malibu Convert M20/350 Aztec Bronze
1987 Sea Ray Pachanga 22
2002 Cadillac Escalade EXT Parts chaser
2007 Trailblazer SS -gone and missed

Yeah, I agree with that. I think they look like too much bling on long low cars. My opinion is continental kits look good on shoe-box proportioned cars like tri-fives and 58 Belairs/Biscaynes, but not on long cars like the 58 Impala or the 59-60's.

But many potential buyers would love it, would help drive the sale. How much of a price premium does it add? A lot to one buyer, nothing to the next buyer. So I think its luck of the draw...which potential buyer is looking.

Basically agree.

It is NOT something I would add hoping to recoup the cost at re-sale.

Add one because you like it. Any other reason is risky.

For me? I think the look like donkey doo (thought that for 60 years). I would likely 'bid' less for a car that had one.
