The driver seat in my '01 Suburban 1500 no longer moves the seat. Mechanic tells me a new a new motor. I found an aftermarket part because this is NLA. Can anyone tell me what is involved in replacing this motor. The part number is 89026367.

About four nuts on the mount hold it to the floor. Then you unplug all of the electrical connectors. There may be two or three.

Get it out on the bench on a tarp or towel to keep it from getting dirty and study the mounting of the existing motor.

Guessing about four or six smaller machine screws/bolts will have it out of there.

Reverse procedure to put it back. Test it before you lock it down on the mounting studs so you don’t have to undo them in case something went haywire.
