Anyone know of a place selling a short shaft water pump and pulley setup for the 235's?

If you have the cone shaped pulley you can order a regular 235 water pump and push the pulley mounting flange down the shaft with a vice and a couple of sockets. I did this about a month ago. Then just cut off the extra shaft. I'm sure the pulley is available separately too and overall it's about half of what the main suppliers charge.

How far did you push it through? Ya I'd have to source a pulley

I don't remember how much I moved it down, but at least an inch. I just measured the old pump that I replaced, and it's 4-1/4" from the pump flange mounting face to the top of the pulley flange face. There's 7/16" between the pump shaft casting and the bottom of the pulley flange. Hope that makes sense!
