my 2008 chevy suburban is having electrical issues. while driving down the road the door locks unlock and lock and the dash lights vanish. turn the engine off and there is zero power. open the hood and wiggle the negative cable and the lights come back on. i cleaned every ground i could find and let me tell you gm puts grounds in places you would never think to look. im at a stand still. any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have heard of problems with in the battery cables? Replace them?? If the cables have any sort of problem, it may interfere with their ability to conduct power.

Here is someone with exact same problem and it was cables, apparently they corrode on the inside where it can't be seen.

Interestingly enough, when people have problems with the General Motors positive battery cable they often complain about the power door lock actuators activating by themselves.

PS - Don't go cheap, buy original GM/AC Delco parts when possible. Aftermarket Electrical parts can be shoddy and auto parts stores tend to source cheap made in china parts to be competitive.
