I've got a 2002 Envoy that the dash gauges all quit a couple weeks ago. Since then the battery goes dead overnight. All fuses show good and don't see anything out of place.
My neighbor came over this evening to borrow my battery charger. It seems his 2004 Tahoe did the same thing about the same time. He'd been disconnecting his battery every night.
Both vehicles run good and mine is putting about 14.5 volts out of the alternator and the battery stays charged for a few days and will start the Envoy with no problem if I disconnect it after driving. Is there a relay somewhere that may be sticking or bad that operates the cluster gauges? Dash lights do seem to work.

I wonder if you have corrosion in the fuse box under the hood. I would give that box a good inspection.
Is there anything else that does not work (properly)
Seems something is keeping it awake when the key is off

Could be defective battery cables. Seems to be a common issue on older GM vehicles. They look good but are not, internal corrosion.

PS - Don't go cheap, but original GM/AC Delco parts when possible. Electrical parts can be shoddy and auto parts stores tend to source cheap made in china parts to be competitive.

That is an understatement.
I make my own. The store bought ones have thick insulation but not much wire. Poor solder if even soldered
