Hi member from UK. Can anyone advise me on the size of the original tyre as shown in the 1960 Chevy Impala brochure showing a blue 1960 Impala flattop.
I realise its 14" (750-800)? but what is the whitewall width? Whats a good bias or radial?
Tyres available seem to be Coker, American Classic etc. Any recomendations in the USA to supply? Could ship to Florida then UK.
Thanks Pete

    In response to Peterperfect

I purchased the tires for my ’60 Impala 2 door hardtop Sport Coupe from Coker tire. From what I could find the 7.50 – 14 was the correct size for my car. They are also 4 Ply Polyester not Radials. The only reason for the Polyester tires was that when I started my third attempt at the restoration, I decided that I wanted to return the car to exactly the same as it was the day that I drove it off the used car lot otherwise I would have definitely used radials. I could be wrong but it seems like I saw on their website that they have a Radial that looks like a Polyester.
As you can see on the label the white wall is 2 ¼’.
Hope that this helps. Lamar
