Last month or so been watching the Walton's on a old tv channel, I watched some in highschool, well after school.

It was just on one day and decided to watch, it's pretty good, was born Sept 1977 and it looks like it ran from 1972-1981?

Anyways looking something up about the show, they are making a new Walton's movie, read the original series started as a movie, then became show, probably all new cast but would be nice to have some original people.

I know it's a Ford, but I enjoy seeing John Boy's car.

How many here watched the show?

I watch it sometimes in the afternoon,I think it is on the INSP Network, usually 2 episodes in a row.My Dad really liked the show. There are a lot of old '20s and '30s cars to see.I really like the episodes with Will Geer as the Grandfather,he was a very accomplished actor.

My family watched it back in the day, I wasn’t interested in it back then. I have been watching a lot of the episodes recently.

Love that show. Missed it the first time, but a few years back got hooked and binged the whole series. Good wholesome stuff; a stark contrast to the mean-spirited crap on the teevee these days.

I remember seeing one when I was about 17, one of the kids wants to buy a gas station thinking he will make good money because there is a boom.

The dad explains where there is a boom there is a bust.

Don't remember what happened but hope to see it one day.

Read the actors who played the mom and dad were alcoholics, the guy playing the dad decided to try to be like his character John Walton and quit drinking buy season 2.
