Pretty impressive with all 4 Hendrick cars finishing 1,2,3 and 4. Wonder what post race inspection reveals about them?

Chevy and Hendrick's biggest day in a while.

1-2-3-4 finish for one organization has only been done 3 times - twice in the 50s and again in the 2000s by Roush when Kurt Busch and Mark Martin were there.

Inspection complete at Dover

MAY 16, 2021 AT 6:17 PM
Post-race inspection is complete following the Drydene 400 NASCAR Cup Series race at Dover International Speedway.

There were no issues for #48-Alex Bowman. He is officially the winner.

#8-Reddick, #17- Buescher, #24-Byron and #37-Preece each had one loose lug nut. Their crew chiefs will each be fined $10,000

I find this so weird coming from F1. I'm still catching up on the reg department. Do they have guns that flash when they met the expected torque for a lugnut?

The whole pit stop looks out of control with people throwing guns and lugnuts flying around.

Multiple lug nuts is one of the few things that's "stock" about stock cars these days. But you don't have to think about that much longer, the next gen cars will have a single lug nut like most open wheel race cars and endurance cars.

They don't have anything that "flashes" when a lug nut is tight, but they do record the peak pressures for the air line so the pit crew knows if they got them tight.

From my observations, the main bunch that throws around air guns is the Indy car set.
