Happy Easter guys,
i have an odd request. I've got a line on a 1967 Impala SC 327 4spd factory car. 12 bolt rear axle, original engine, Saginaw 4spd and rear axle. The body and interior are rough but it's restorable. Can you give me your opinions as to what i should pay for it. I know I haven't given you much to go on but let me know a ballpark value. Thanks, Mark

how 'rough' is the body/floors? If you will need to replace major panels and floor sections and then good paint your are looking at $20-$30,000 min., and that includes you doing alot of the work. If thats the case I would not pay more than $5-$8,000 for the car and thats only if you wont have to rebuild the drivetrain any time soon.

Thanks for the input!! he wants way too much for the car, and I actually had a local very knowledgeable "car guy" tell me he wouldn't give $4K for it. The original 327 would definitely need a rebuild. Thanks again, Mark

A factory 4-speed makes it a rare car indeed. It sounds like a cool car. Prices on classic cars are WAAAY UP nowadays, even rough cars.

Thanks Big Dog. There isn't a straight panel on it, The right rear quarter had plenty of Bondo in it, the center console has been cut in half, it has a Saginaw 4-speed. The hood and left front fender have been replaced. It does have the bucket seats but the overall interior is a mess. I really love this body style and option package but don't think it's worth $13K. Mark
