Truck turns over and dies instantly. Cranks fine and everything sounds good it just dies as soon as it starts. I already checked fuel pump relay and ignition relay and they’re good. Fuel pump sounds good, I’m going to test fuel pressure just in case. Also fuel gauge and voltage gauge both stopped working at the same time the truck wouldn’t start up. There is no security lights flashing. I’ve tried numerous amount of time to start it. Took a test light and fuses looked good. In need of some help

Does it have a security light??
If it does start but then shuts right off that sounds classic of a Passlock Failure.
It kills injector pulse as soon as the engine starts.

He said the security light is not on. It could be the crank sensor. The fuel pump primes whenever you turn on the key so the engine will run off of that fuel for a second or two. But if the computer is getting no signal from the crank or cam sensor, it will shut off the fuel pump.

I asked if it has a security light. Sometimes the light does not work. If it does come on on the key on cycle then you know the light works.
It could be the crank sensor or wiring to it, but hopefully there would be a DTC pointing to it.

Is there a way I can test those sensors without replacing them?

I used a scan tool and no dtcs came up. I put a new ignition wiring harness and switch in and that made no difference and still has the same problem

Sorry, I was assuming since he said there was no security light flashing that it has one and is working.
