My clutch chatters a fair amount when the engine is cold but once everything gets to operating temperature and I would say about 10 miles of stop and go city driving it does not chatter at all. It is a 55 Belair with about a 250 HP 327. Original 3 speed with overdrive. The engine runs very well both hot and cold. I have replaced all four motor mounts, all the clutch linkage from the pedal to and including the clutch fork and throw out bearing. I checked the flywheel run out with a dial indicator it was ok. I also changed the universal joints. The clutch does not slip at all. I am puzzled why it only chatters when engine is not at operating temp. Any inputs appreciated.
