Was watching a video on the Rochester base plate rebuild and was looking at Oreilly’s and advance auto and speedway motors for a throttle bushing reamer with the new bushings. Haven’t found them what terminology should I use in my searches thank

Are you referring to the Q jet carburetor or any aluminum base plate or throttle body?

FYI, E-Bay lists carburetor bushing repair kits for various sized shafts. They come with the reamer and several bushings for roughly $40.00.

In the for what its worth category:

If you have a good milling machine (not a drill press, CERTAINLY not a hand drill) go for it.

Otherwise, if you only plan to do one carburetor base, would highly suggest take the throttle body apart, and take it to a local machine shop to have the bushing procedure done.

Or, if you plan to work on lot of carbs, watch the machinery auctions for a good milling machine.

No, I no longer do them, please do not send it to me.

Jon.

Good carburetion is fuelish hot air!

The most expensive carburetor you will ever buy.....is the incorrect one you attempt to modify!

If you truly believe "one size fits all", trying walking a mile in your spouse's shoes!
