Probably worth more as broken down into parts than it is as a whole. If it is an Impala, there is even more to sell.

Never argue with an idiot. He'll drag you down to his level, then beat you with experience.

Wagons have grown exponentially in value the past few years. But a total restoration on a wagon is no different than a coupe. In fact parts are sometimes even harder to find. If its an Impala thats better. If its a 409 thats even beter. If its a 4 speed...very cool. But even though they are bringing respectable money these days I doubt you are going to get your money back if you have to fully restore it. Just my opinion. There are major exceptions. Like the 1964 black with red interior 409/425 4 speed that I saw at MCACN a few years back. Rotisserie car and just stunning. That one is worth serious money.

I like these types of grading scales and could almost be universally applied.

I just wonder if there could be another condition added as the age continues to segregate the whole integrity of a car/ project as more reproduction parts are made available and as more rough parts cars turn in to full restores since more is available for them and more people are willing to build them due to the ever growing scarcity.
