What chemical is the best to use without damaging components to clean an interior of a radiator. I have heard the regular stuff from auto parts stores, Draino crystals, Baking soda (i have used) with & without vinegar. I don't drive this car much so to use something that requires hundred of miles to work would not be a working solution. Not sure if the rad is plugged. Put a new gauge cluster in with a temp sensor and the gauge is reading 210-220. I think it has a 160-185 thermostat in it but not positive. This is on a 71 Chevelle 350cu.with a mild cam
