hello all, i built a 27 ford bucket this yr. wired the brake lights in and all ok. Lights back and front ok to. have a stand alone turn signal switch on column from speedway. LED lights out back. When I apply brake pedal the turn signal lights on the dash come on dimly, brake lights work fine out back. the turn signal work fine with turn switch. turn signal flash out back fine even if brake is on. turn indicator dash gos off when u let off the brake pedal. I leave the battery connected and no shorts. all wiring has there own connector on terminal block. I cant figure how the turn dash lights a getting fed back from the brakes. PS have a flasher from speedway for LED lights

Steel or fiberglass? Do the front turn signals come on dimly when you apply brake? The turn indicators are connected to the front turn lights. The turn switch may be the culprit, feeding to the front. Do you have good grounds on all corners?

I found that I needed a "grounded" flasher w/ led lites not an "LED" flasher.

Hi all wiring grounded to battery. No front turn signal light dimly lit with brake, only dash lights come on with brakes. front signal lights connected, working correct. I played with turn signal switch and I can get the dash turn signal lights to go off in one spot, but if I dont hold it they come on with brakes. Did look at wiring diagram for A5007 turn signal switch and it shows one wire going to brake light switch. I have brakes witch wired by it self. maybe its the wonderful speedway switch.

LEDs are directional. Do they make LED's for flashing? I had to remove side marker LED bulbs on my truck. The LEDs didn't flash.

Hi led stop/turn signal lights work fine the way they are suppose to. The cheap turn signal switch is the problem. It has a bolt that go's through it to hold it to together. Turn Switch handle wobbled. It was loose so I tighten it. WRONG!!! dont do it made the little contacts between the stop and turn signal touch. I loosened the little bolt and the problem solved. That's what I get for trying to do it right. :smile :
