Anyone ever done away with the vacuum wipers? Just curious. I know my knob for mine is bad or something. So thought about looking into a possible conversion.
I didnt see anything in the search bar.

Newport.
I've had my 51 Chevy for almost 60yrs.
I put up with the ORIGINAL vacuum wipers for about 58yrs. Finally, about 2yrs ago, I bought the Newport wiper kit for a 51 Chevy --------------------- WHY THE HECK DIDN'T I DO THIS YEARS AGO???????????????
DUH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It was literally a plug and play. I paid a little extra for a switch that would permit installing the original wiper switch knob. Pure factory appearance in the dash.
