Anyone have a nice clear diagram for the dash wiring of a 1953 Bel Air?
Or know where I can get one.

There are wiring diagrams in the back of the 49-54 shop manual. There are 2 for the 53. They went from the cloth covered wire to the plastic covered wire for the 53's. More than likely they can be found in The Old Car Manual project pages at the top of the Chevy Talk page, under Sticky Posts.

This diagram has both cloth covered and plastic insulation color code call outs. The central portion of the diagram indicates the instrument panel connections. You can click on the image to get a larger image.
