do you mean the two metal clips that hold the bulb? I know they are available as part of a wiring harness assembly.

The common name for that bulb type is festoon maybe that will help find something that will work. I have never seen that exact clip type for sale before.

yes Im looking for the 2 clips that hold the bulb. I guess I will have to get a harness otherwise. That harness is on backorder from my usual supplier, of course thats my luck.
thanks jim

Those bulbs ( #211, 212) were commonly used in the overhead dome lamps well into the 80's by many manufacturers. While the originals are crimped to the wire ends and snap into place, you may be able to find a used dome lamp with similar clips to use and splice the wires as necessary. Some also used a cupped (dished) clip at both ends of the bulb rather than our originals.

Iv'e had an idea on those also. Since no one can see if it's gennie, why not just pilfer a LED set up from another late model vehicle or buy a dome light kit and just adapt it in? Whats your thoughts? Now lets talk about how those expensive replacement lenses don't stay in place either...

well after your dome light idea I took a look at my wagon parts car and low and behold there is still a dome light with those clips. Not sure what the value of that dome light is as a selling point but thanks for the idea.
