I am in the process of getting my Biscayne 2 door rear windows to roll and down properly. Since I've
owned the car they have never operated properly. As they were raised they would hang up in the forward post felt channel requiring several tugs from the top of the glass to get them all the way up. Now that they are removed I think I know why. The prior owner used small trim screws to hold the forward felts in place. As the window was rolled up the small plastic guide (which is mounted to the top of the stainless channel on the glass side) would hang up on the these trim screws. Question is; how did the factory do it? Did they screw the felts in place, glue? Thanks for any help.

The outside strip is clipped onto the stainless and then both are screwed onto the car. The inside strip is stapled to the panel.

After removing the upper channel fuzzies I found out what the problem is. The fuzzies are held in by studs which press into pre-drilled holes in the post and rear channel. I have ordered a set of these (see below) which have the studs pre-installed.
