well the thing is I am a lowrider . in September I installed air ride suspension and love it. so I will have to take my drive shaft to a shop and have them press on a new carrier bearing and will they also have to rebalance the drive shaft ?

If you only change the center bearing, no need to rebalance. Ask how much it costs to check the balance and do that if not expensive or if you have had any vibration issues in the past.
If you go to a slip yoke rear shaft, I’m not familiar with them, they are likely already well balanced I’d guess.

All the same. If you are going to be doing them yourself, Rock Auto has the grease able AC Delco cross bearings / universals for a little over $7.00 each, plus shipping. There is a wide variety of brands available, and if you want the Rolls Royce of bearings, then buy Spicer Brand. About $20 + per bearing.

Chock and block the front wheels and jack the rear up high enough for jackstands under rear of frame to remove the driveshaft.

However tall you can get the driveshaft out. Don't know your garage or driveway situation.

I’d suggest 4 jack stands and leave the car on them if possible until you are ready to reinstall. Leave the car at a normal height suspension wise with the car level supporting the axles and enough room to be under it easily. Don’t use the suspension travel from your air system, it needs to be in the normal stock height when you put the driveshaft and center bearing back in place.
I put the stands on the base of the shock on the rear and under the lower control arms on the front.
Put a pan under the tail shaft to give you time to get the plug in the transmission. The fluid will come out fairly slowly.
